UluP Spatial is approved: now available on the Meta Horizon Store

Two days ago UluP Spatial was still in review. Today it got approved: it's now live on the Meta Horizon Store, ready to install on Meta Quest with one click — no developer mode, no sideloading, no extra steps.

What changes

Until today, trying Spatial meant enabling developer mode on your headset and sideloading the APK by hand with SideQuest or adb — an extra step that kept out anyone who didn't want to touch their Quest's settings just out of curiosity.

From now on, just open the Store, search for UluP Spatial and install it like any other app:

If you'd rather keep using it without installing anything, you still can, via WebXR, straight from the headset's browser, on any compatible headset — still the fastest way in if you don't own a Quest or just want to try it on the fly.

No new data, no copy

Nothing changes under the hood: Spatial reads from and writes to the same database as UluP Spaces. A node you move, connect or complete in the headset is the exact same node you'll find back on your computer, with the same account.

What you can do today

  • Grab and move nodes by hand — a pinch picks them up, the position saves instantly
  • Create a node by voice or typing — speak or use the virtual keyboard
  • Connect nodes with a tap, the same connections you see on Spaces
  • Open a task panel on your wrist, like a small smartwatch, with focus mode and a timer
  • See attachments, images included, right in the scene
  • Work in real time with a collaborator, seeing who's online and what they're doing
  • Switch from AR (your real room) to full VR whenever you want

What's next

Store approval isn't a finish line, it's the start of a different phase: more people trying it without having to fiddle with developer settings, which means more real feedback on what actually works when you grab a project by hand instead of clicking through a screen.

In the meantime, work on Spatial continues: a parallel native rebuild is underway, aimed at pushing the hands-only interaction even further.

Where to get it
