Over the past few days we redesigned all of ulupstudio.com. Not a touch-up: every page was rebuilt from scratch, one at a time, starting from the home page. In this post we walk you through what changed, page by page.
The idea behind it
The old site worked, but it felt heavy: a bulky header, animations that were just okay, pages that didn't look like each other. We wanted the site to show what we do straight away, with the same care we put into the apps.
What we didn't touch: the logo and the gradients, which are also part of the apps, and the Italian/English language switch. Everything else is new.
We gave ourselves a few simple rules:
- flat, solid blocks of colour, each in its product's colour
- big, readable headlines and narrow text lines
- motion that explains something, never decoration
- everything has to work well on a phone too
Home, Games and the front door
The home page now has a centred hero, a rebuilt app carousel (cards grow when you hover them) and repositioned scenario pills. The Games page introduces our games division with a dedicated band.
The product pages
Every app has its own page, and each one has an animation built to explain what that product does.
UluP Spaces
The page for our flagship product. In the hero the nodes draw themselves and connect: the quickest way to show that this is not a list, it's a map. There's a single video, the right one, and screenshots that load nicely.
UluP Spatial
The same map, in mixed reality on Meta Quest. A page that explains how it works and what changes when your project stops being a flat screen.
UluP Desktop
The animation shows a list of files turning into a canvas of connected nodes: exactly what the app does with your folders.
UluP Life
Every meaningful moment becomes a star, and the stars link up into a constellation. The hero animation tells the idea in a few seconds.
UluP Focus
A clean Pomodoro timer. The page includes a demo timer you can actually start.
Developers and SDK Studio
The page for anyone who wants to build on top of UluP Spaces. There's an API explorer: pick one of the seven endpoints and the curl call updates, with a Copy button. Right after it, the SDK Studio download for Windows, also available from the Microsoft Store.
Ulupy
Ulupy now has two pages, one for Spaces and one for Life, so each can tell its own story without getting mixed up. It's how you connect Claude to your projects and your moments.
Community, Plugins and Roadmap
Community and Plugins share the same list layout, so you can find what you're after quickly.
The Roadmap is the page we're happiest with: you can filter by status, events are grouped by month with the newest on top, and "Coming soon" comes first. A timeline with a node for every milestone, filled if it's done and hollow if it's planned.
About, Blog and Von Walt
The About page tells the story of who is behind UluP Studio. The origin of the name now has three coloured blocks (U, lu, P) and an "UP" arrow that rises just once.
The Blog highlights the latest post and has a reading bar that advances as you scroll.
The Von Walt page keeps the game's 1980s neon identity, and the game itself is still in development, with a new and clearer structure.
Universe
The page that excited us the most. Universe is a 3D hall with all the products: you move by dragging and zooming, fly towards a product and open its page. It's lighter on phones, and if your headset supports it a button appears to enter VR. Underneath, a row of chips lets you jump straight to any product.
Support and Privacy
The Support form now tells you right on the page whether your message was sent, without changing screen. The Privacy and Terms page has a new look, with the text unchanged.
What's next?
The site is done, and we liked the result so much that later on we'd like to give UluP Spaces, the app itself, the same treatment. We'll take it slowly, one piece at a time.
If you spot something that's off, especially on a phone, write to us from the Support page: we already fixed one today thanks to a report. Happy exploring!
